The Buffalo Heart Medicine Society has been meeting continuously since 1992 once a month, with very few exceptions, as a spiritual community (Tiyospaye) for the sacred inipi purification and prayer ceremony under the spiritual guidance and direction of the Woptura Medicine lineage. The holders and elders of that lineage are honored and remembered on this website.
